Tu-Can is a trash bin concierge service in Northeastern Ohio. Customers pay a monthly subscription, and a local "Tu-Can Runner" wheels their bins to the curb on trash day and brings them back. It's a simple idea, but launching a service this unusual comes with a real challenge: convincing people it's a real, trustworthy business worth paying for. The site needed to explain what Tu-Can does, why it exists, make signing up effortless, and recruit the drivers who actually do the work.

We built a 6-page site that leans into the brand's personality without undermining the professionalism behind it. The entire site runs on custom illustrations instead of photography, which was a deliberate choice. You can't photograph someone wheeling a trash bin in a way that feels premium, but you can illustrate a cheerful toucan neighborhood scene that makes the service feel warm, approachable, and established. The homepage walks visitors from the value proposition ("Take Trash Day Off Your To-Do List") through how it works, who it helps, and pricing, all in one scroll. The pricing page presents four subscription tiers with a feature comparison table and Stripe-powered checkout so customers can sign up and start paying immediately. A Tu-Can Runners page recruits drivers with a gig-economy pitch: set your own schedule, get paid per stop, help your community. Custom illustrations carry the toucan brand character throughout, and a load animation introduces the mascot the moment the homepage arrives.

Tu-Can launched with a site that makes a genuinely unusual service feel established from day one. The illustrations, the green-and-navy palette, the toucan animation, the clean pricing table all work together to say "this is a real company" without having to state it. Customers can find the service, understand it, pick a plan, and pay without speaking to anyone. Drivers can learn about the opportunity and apply through the same site. The brand personality comes through on every page without getting in the way of the conversion path.
